My design is just four strong sponges that are positioned in strategic locations around the inside of the fan so that when the blade spins,the blades just brush past the sponges .
There will be a water container that we must refill whenever we need to clean the fan.Once we turn it on,the water will be pumped to the sponges thus cleaning the blades.
There is a bin below to collect water
This is available in many different sizes
The idea might work....IF there is already such items located within proximity of the fans. You would need to realise between a good idea, and a good REALISTIC idea in your future design challenges.
